Some Updates About Chen Yi at 16Months+

At 16months old...

..... He has started to sleep through the night, it happened since last week, it was a month after he fully weaned of from breastfeeding. His last milk at night at around 9pm, and he sleep through till 6am or 7am in the morning.... in fact, I should feel relief cos finally I got chance to have a good night sleep too after 16months of "sleepless" night, don't play play.... he could wake up up to 4times at night to cry for milk!! But, I feels like something was missing.... the feeling is weird. I think I miss breastfeeding, I miss the bonding moment between me and my Chen Yi baobei.

..... He has got 10teeth now. I just noticed his first molar(right upper, and left lower) was erupting.... don't know since when it sprouted, I've noticed the lower molar one week ago, but the upper one I just realised last night when he yelling during bath time, I saw two little white thingie, and it is really sharp! Ouch!! it must be very painful, now I know why he keep drooling lately... and he's cranky too.

..... He started to walk on his own!!! This is surely his greatest achievement so far... When he started to stand up at 10months old, I thought he will be walking soon... waited, and waited... no sign of walking, but in the other way, he preferred crawling than walking. Then at 14months, he started to walk few steps with support, by that time, I really thought he's ready to go! But still, he preferred crawling.... so eventually, at 16months and 1week old, he started to walk more often, he want us to hold hands and walk together, soon he started to walk 3-4 steps on his own, then sit back and stand up himself and walk again.

My boy, he has grown up so much...

Yes..He can walk now!
