I have not been updating my blog for almost a week already. The reason being not keeping this blog updated is because first I was busy watching my TVB series. Heheh. Second was because Xixi fall sick for the past few days, fever and throat infection starts attacked her on Wednesday. She is still on medication now but I’m glad that her appetite is back. Her mood swing is over too! Hooray…

Though she is much better now, but hubby and I still prefer her to stay at home to build her immune system up again! Furthermore the weather nowadays is so unpredictable, so even though today is hubby off day, we didn’t really bring her out to “kai-kai”. So since we tak jadi go “kai-kai” today, I’ve decided to make Ondeh-Ondeh at home which I expect it would take me half a day to complete the whole process. From steaming and mashing the sweet potatoes, making dough, wrapping, boiling and lastly serve on the dining table. It indeed very very time consuming!! That wasn’t the hardest part though; the worse thing was… my ondeh-ondeh cracked terribly after wrapped and some cracked even worse when it comes to boiling and hence the palm sugar leaked all over! So in the end… out of so many ondeh-ondeh, there were only about 15pieces are presentable (可以见人的)the rest are all in the dustbin! *sob… sob* (There were actually more unfinished dough and palm sugar in the dustbin as I got to rush for my facial appointment.) I gave 10 pieces to my auntie who live near by, I and hubby shared only 5 pieces. Haha.

All in all, I don’t really satisfy the outcome of my Ondeh-Ondeh this time round.
1, the dough doesn't has the "Q" texture to me.
2, I should add more pandan juice as it wasn’t fragrant/green enough.
3, it was terribly ugly and messy… (I mean those in the dustbin one)
I think I still prefer to buy from outside if I crave for it next time. Haha. Ya ya, I know I’m lazy…

So these are few 可以见人的 Ondeh-Ondeh. Haha!

I bought Xixi some baby puzzles and thought she will like it “N” months ago, but unfortunately she doesn’t fancy about it at all. Or should I say she didn’t really understand the game yet. She was showing interest every time when I teach her how to put the 2 pieces puzzle together however when she couldn’t managed to put things together she will throw tantrums. She still preferred to bring the puzzle to me and ask me “玩” to play instead… *Fainted*.So ended up the puzzle been sitting in her cabinet again for another “N” month more…

I mentioned before Xixi really has an itchy hands. So one of these days when she do her round of “cabinet adventure”, she found this baby puzzle. She took it out from the cabinet and start exploring everything again. I’ve been very lazy boring to teach her how to play with it again so I decided to leave things to her. I let her explore the puzzle at her own pace. Haha…

I was really surprised by this cheeky girl few days later… I was sitting at the living room while she playing with her toys as usual. I noticed she already grasped the skill of playing puzzle. She uses her tiny hands to put up 2pieces puzzle together all by herself! She finally did it!!Though she is a bit over age for the baby puzzle (the puzzle is for 18months+ baby), but anyway I feel so happy for her as her motor skills seems has improved.

Haha… at last I got another activity to keep her occupy rather than just watching TV and hanging around at home. Though she still needs my interaction some times but I’m more than happy to be there with her, watch her grows and learns.

Attempt to put 2 puzzles together.

When the puzzles is complete, she showed me the cheeky smile again! Her masterpiece: Car, Train (she called it as "Too-Too"), Tractor (she called it as "Ah Gong's turtle" hahaha) and Airplane (she called it as "Banne")

She was doing thumbs up gesture because being praise that she is a good girl! *Wink*

We bring Xixi for her fringe trimming today. Yes it’s time to trim her fringe again. Haha! I like to cut her fringe real short because her hair gets long very fast! We used to visit this hair saloon every 2 months, today the 3 of us had our hair cut together. =)

One thing I got to jot down here is Xixi definitely has grown up to be more obedient and co-operative girl now. She seems to be more understand and willing to listen what I’ve told her. She greets the hair dresser “Jie Jie” before the trimming start, then before we go home she greet goodbye to the hairdresser as well. You know, several times we brought her for hair trimming she would end up cried out kesian-ly, she doesn’t like any stranger to touch her hair. Today, though she still not willing to seat by herself, but she was very co-operative to let the hair-dresser trim her fringe. She sits on my lap quietly till the whole process complete. No fuss at all! After her trimming done, it was my turn. I thought she will just stand beside me and wait for me, because she used to be very attached to me all times!! No… I was wrong… to our (me and hubby) surprise, she walk away and sat at the sofa (waiting area) waiting for me and hubby to complete our hair cut, mean while playing with the “Jie Jie” (hairdresser). At first I didn’t aware where she was till hubby told me (hubby saw her from mirror reflection) “Hey, you see your daughter so “guai” sit at the sofa waiting for us” Later on, the hairdresser also praise her a friendly and obedient girl. =) I simply love people praise about her, haha! Feel so proud of her! Honestly she was very well behaved at the hair saloon today; I think she has really grown up a lot; she is indeed my little good girl now!

14th May marked a very special and important day in our life for me and hubby.
14 May 2006, we get married on this date.
Yes, we have been married for 3 years!
How time flies…...

“愿我们的爱像细水般长流,直到永远”

The weather these days are absolutely hot! The hot weather makes me feel lazy to even step out of the house. I will just stay at home, to avoid the direct sun. The heat during night time is just unbearable too! The moment I get out of shower, I start perspire again. Same to my daughter, she perspires a lot; hence both of us always stay indoor most of the times. However I wouldn't mind let her playing in our front yard again if happened one day our front yard is well designed with Arizona landscapes.

Oh… How time flies, just a blink of eyes my princess Xixi is now 2 years old already!! But I’m late to post up her growing progress this month. Heheh =) almost forgot that and I not really jot down everything in the past one month. ;p *Malu*

Weight: 11kg
Height: 86.5cm

Miss Busybody
I’m not sure other kids at her age, but my Xixi is really a busybody type. Example 1:She will run all the way from living room to kitchen just for Kehpo-ing when she see me open fridge or I did something she feel interesting. Example 2: When I open drawer to take out some stuff, with her around, she will come and check what are the stuff I’ve took out and ask me to give her whatever stuff on my hands one by one. Oh ya, she has very itchy hands too. Her eyes will keep targeting the new things surrounded her, once she spot any “interesting” thing she will straight away grab it, if we snatch it away from her she will throw tantrum! She likes to open and close my door, my cabinet door, drawer.. whatever la.. as long as the thing looks interesting to her, she will keep touching it!

Stubborn and Impatient
Typical Taurus. She wants means she really WANT! On the spot! Cannot wait! However she only dares to be stubborn and impatient to me and Papa. To me most of the times! Because others people likes her beloved grand parents will just give in everything she wants. Me and hubby wouldn’t give in 100% depends on situation.

Superb Playful and Energetic Girl
Her world is all about games and toys. She use her own creativity to explore her toys, talk to her soft toys; sleep with her soft toys; imitate the character in the TV, play her tricycle wheels, dance and hop whenever she likes, Still like her favorite Hi-5 and noticed she love pop-song nowadays. Her favorite song is “默默”. Also noticed she likes to watch TV commercial especially those with music and animation. Example: Ribena and Mamy Poko advertisement. Haha!

Nagging Non-Stop and very LOSO
We can’t simply promise her thing nowadays. She will remember your promise and keep reminding you till you finally fulfill her. Example: She requested me to bring her go swimming few weeks ago, but I was down with sore throat and cold then I told her will bring her go after I recovered. So start the following day she keeps check on me whether my sore throat already okay and wanted me to go swimming with her. Haha! If she suddenly recalled things that we promised her she will keep on nagging and nagging non-stop! She will only shut her mouth up when we finally give in.

Quite Big Eater
Beside 2 big bowls of porridge (sometimes rice) she also takes biscuits, bread, some snacks and fruits everyday. As long as we are eating, we will let her have some try on our food, be it spicy curry or bitter gourd She loves junk food a lot *sigh* Potato chips, French fries are her favorites! Luckily she drink plenty of water everyday, she loves fruits too. Papaya, strawberries, guava, banana, apple, oranges, she never reject any fruits so far except durian. Haha! Vegetables so far she likes are pumpkin, choy sum, sweet potato, sweet corns, cherry tomatoes and many more…

Lastly, happy belated birthday to my dear princess, Chen Xi. 愿平安,喜乐常与你同在!没有什么事比得上看着你健康成长更值得妈妈高兴的了。。。

I personally likes the idea of personalize luggage wraps. With the stylist monogrammed luggage wraps, it helps me to keep track of my bags and luggage whenever I go travel. That is why I like customize luggage wraps as it really make my luggage bag looks extra outstanding! As such I will not have to worry about getting wrong luggage in future anymore!
Almost every time we go to Jusco Bukit Indah we will let Xixi to have some fun at the “Smart Wonder World” playground. She so excited when she know we’re going to bring her to Jusco every time and she wouldn’t forget keep reminding us to bring her to the playground while saying “玩!玩!ball ball” Haha! Ya lah… she love playing the colorful ball in the playground!

Since yesterday was Jusco member day, I purposely request hubby to take one day leave. Haha… First is to grab cheap stuff of cos! Secondly we can bring our princess to the playground again since they only charge a flat rate at RM5 for unlimited hours which is quite cheap.

We arrived at Jusco around 10.30am, taken our breakfast cum lunch altogether then after that we straight go to shopping. Haha! I think you can imagine how crowded the shopping mall was when comes to member’s day. Every single floor was full of peoples! Especially those booths where offered great sale at 70-80% off! Yes, we were there too… Haha! We managed to grab some cheap clothing for me and hubby, cheap diapers for Xixi and some cheap household groceries.

We finished our shopping at around 2pm; we bring the girl to the Wonder World after that. Even though already passed through her nap time, but she still very energetic! Once she saw the playground from far away her eyes already start WINK again! Haha! The playground also quite crowded yesterday, Xixi at first a bit shy to play with other kids but luckily after some warmed up, and she can interact well with them. Heheh… lucky me, no need to climb up and down with her this time though I and hubby still got to keep an eye close to her.

At last, we leave Jusco around 3pm. Xixi dozed off in the car and she slept all the way till 5.30pm! She must be exhausted already!

Wouldn’t missed in playing play her favorite slide!

And another favorite.... Colorful ball ball!!

Heheh... riding motorcycle somemore!! Vroom-Vroom...

Another round of kiddie ride!! This ride was not included in the entrance fee RM5. We got to buy extra RM1 token in order to drive this "vehicle" heheh.. =)

Buying a car is secondly expensive after buying a house. That’s why it’s important to know how to make a smart deal. Hubby and I always wishing for a new car however in these economic downturns period, getting a brand new car is almost mission impossible for us! We only can afford to get a used car for the moment being.

There’re so many brands of cars available in the market today, among them I would preferred a European car; Peugeot is always one of the dream car in my wish list. Firstly Peugeot is very well known car and it’s already in the car industry for more than 100 years. Secondly I simply love their car with its stylish and flair design.

I just came across a Peugeot Dealer site. This site not only offers new Peugeot but they have large stock of used Peugeot cars available at very compatible price too. I’ve been eyeing the Peugeot 107 Hatchback 3 door all these while since I preferred smaller car. Peugeot 107 is a simple to drive and cheap to run small car; It’s easy to park and it’s ideal for driving in busy built-up areas.

However hubby told me that he doesn’t want a small car with only 3 doors… Haha! He needs an intermediate vehicle that compromise between small car and saloon. Peugeot 308 is one of his choices. With its sumptuous styling and contemporary design, this car is the best for families and young drivers like us. Hubby also told me the main reason he was targeting this car is because Peugeot 308 is the first car of Peugeot’s new 8-generation, and has clear focus on quality, alongside safe practical family motoring. Besides that, Peugeot 308 5W is unique to estates of this size. It has an extra row of seats which enable to carry more passengers.

Anyway, we’re not going to buy both cars at one time. We shall see which model suit us the best and do some research and negotiation first before we proceed for it.
2-May-09, we woke up 6am in the morning, extra early than usual as today was Xixi’s 2nd birthday. We were travelled to Port Dickson with my family member and we had a small birthday celebration for Xixi at Port Dickson. Never had big party for her this year, as we preferred spend times with our close family member and enjoyed the breathtaking scenery rather than tiring cleaning job after party. =)

Birthday Girl get ready to the beach!!

We departed our home sweet home around 7.30am. Xixi was very excited when came to know we bring her to “kai-kai”. Haha! We met up my auntie and cousins at Melaka and had chicken rice ball as lunch before heading to PD. It took us about 1.5hours driving from Melaka to PD and Xixi fall slept all the way. Haha!

We checked in straight away after reached our destination, Avillion Port Dickson around 1.30pm. We were given by 2 Premium Water Chalets which is facing the strait of Melaka. Simply breathtaking view!! The rooms are BEAUTIFUL, clean, and expensive… Luckily my uncle is working there and we enjoyed 30% off the room rates. So in overall, it still considered cheap especially during the long Labor Day holidays.

At Hotel Lobby waiting for check in. Xixi scared of my cousin’s bulky black DSLR camera that’s why she hugged me tight as if I’m the tree, she is the Koala Bear! Haha!

Once we entered the rooms, the first things we do were not unpack our luggage but jumped onto the bed and start taking photographs!! Haha…

Look at this girl!! She lying on the day bed admired the sea!! Haha!

Xixi started exploring every thing in the room, she even followed me to the bathroom. Oh ya, the bathroom are open sky type and it’s spacious! Feel kind of unsecured bathing inside there… Haha!

We bring the girl to the nearest beach since she already can't wait for it. Scenery along the walking path was awesome!!

We sat down enjoyed watching nice flowers and plantation.

This was our first time to PD and also Xixi’s first time to the beach. She was so excited walking on the sands and kept saying “水,水!”(water). She also very excited when I buried her feet in the sands. Haha! We didn’t stayed too long at the beach as the birthday girl kept asking for “泳泳”swimming already(The sea reminds her to go for swimming). Haha…No.. No.. we didn’t swim at the sea but we bring her to the swimming pool instead. So we walked back to the room and changed our swimming costume.

After changing, she continued admiring the sea.. OMG!!... While me busy chasing her to apply sun block she started posing for the camera again!

Have fun at the swimming pool. Noticed she love playing water so much!! She is getting daring now, not like last few times when we brought her to swimming, she was a bit scared and reluctant. She enjoyed herself very much until refuse to get out of the pool! No choice, we got to trick and force her as the sun was superb bright that afternoon!

Though we had leave the pool, but Xixi still kept asking us to bring her to the beach. So after bathed we bring her to the beach again, and it was nearly sun set time, the beach are more crowded.

After bath. Continue rolling on the bed and pose for the camera! OMG...

At the beach again. Only me and Xixi this time, as hubby complained he was tired already. Actually me too felt tired also after swimming but didn't want to dissappoint my girl, as I could see she really like to go beach so much and kept saying “边,边”beach!!

At night, we had our dinner at one of the Chinese Restaurant at Port Dickson town. The food were nice and most importantly, CHEAP! We ordered 2 fishes, some seafoods, soup and veges. Dinner for 10 peoples only cost RM140! We were too hungry... Haha! Sapu all the foods and didn't take any pictures of it. After dinner we headed back to hotel for the most important session of the day! Yes, blowing cake and singing Happy Birthday Song for Xixi!

Xixi and her beloved Ah-Gong. Thanks my dad for sponsorships of the entire trip!

Xixi and Papa, Mama. Blowing candles.. Happy Birthday!!
Can you see her saliva? She was actually drooling... Haha! Hunger for the cake.. I think.

It was indeed a tired day... All of us dozed off at 10.30pm! Xixi was really tired already she dozed off almost immediately after we put her to bed. Actually I really salute her, she only napped for 1hour++ that day and been super energetic after that! She didn't ask for milk or food but just keep playing the whole day....

3-May-09, Xixi woke up at 7am!! Once her eyes opened, she kept asking for swimming again... *Pengsan* Ya, I told you she is energetic... So afterbreakfast we bring her to the pool AGAIN! As we were going home today, we really have no time to explore others activities besides beach and swimming pool. *Sigh* 2D1N is really not enough for me.. We said Bye-Bye to PD around 11.30am. We didn't went back JB straight, we went Melaka for Nyonyah lunch then headed back to our home sweet home.

**P/S: Thanks all for your comments in my previous post. Xixi's ulcer is getting healed before the day we departed to PD. Not fully healed but at least 70%. And thanks God, she didn't fussy and cranky during the entire trip. She is okay now, her appetite is back, no longer "No, No" to me anymore.. haha! What a relief....
