Promises Comes True...

When Xixi was sick 2 weeks ago, I did promise her to bring her go swimming and eating at Mc D after she fully recovered. I promised her as to cheer her up, because during her sick, she only allowed to stay at home most time and she got poor appetite. I didn’t forget my promise and didn’t want to disappoint her, so I and hubby decided to bring her to the pool again on last Saturday (27-June), since weather these few days were not as hot as last few weeks.

So on the night before our outing, I told Xixi we will have our breakfast next day at Mc Donald, and we will go swimming after that. She was so excited and kept telling me “游泳，游泳”, “Mc...Nald, Mc..Nald” until her fall sleep... Haha! Then the next day early morning she woke up at 6.50am and kept pestering us to bring her go “游泳，游泳”(swimming), “Papa, Mama… 起来！！起来” (wake up, wake up). (OMG… so early!! It's considered early as we normally woke up quite late on weekends morning.) No choice, we woke up 7am++ gave her bottle of milk, get ready every thing then depart from home.

I’m glad to see her happily eating her favorite hash brown and scrambled egg at Mc D again. When we at the pool, she enjoyed herself very much and I can see she no longer scared of water like last time. You know, she really loves swimming as much as I do! And the happiest thing was hubby agreed to bring us go swimming again this coming weekend. Hooray!

Xixi Counts from 1 to 10

Xixi is able to count from 1 to 10 since few weeks ago. I was trying to record her video when she is counting, but was failed several times… She will intentionally speak in low voice or count in wrong sequence or sometimes she ran away straight when she sees me recording. T_T But I never give up though, haha… Lucky me… She was very co-operative just now!

But if you notice that she actually skipped number “8” in both videos? In Mandarin or English, she just likes to jump from number 7 to number 9 directly. Although I told her likes hundred times already 7 follow by 8 then only 9, but she just like to speak it in her own sequence.. I also don't know why?!

Can Your Tongue do this?

When the first time Xixi shows me this stunt I was totally shocked…She looks so funny that really makes me laugh non-stop! Then each time when she “playing” with her tongue I will keep asking her to repeat the same stunt again and again… Haha ;p Because for me, I couldn’t do this for sure. So I didn’t know where on earth she learned this from?! However, hubby told me Xixi was inherited his gene because actually he can also flip his tongue like Xixi did in the picture, which I never really realize that before. *Slap forehead*

Looking for Netbook and Laptop Accessories

I’ve been using my current Asus notebook for 2 years already. Thanks All! Xixi is Recovering Well

I have received quite many messages from my blogger friends these few days who asking about Xixi’s condition. Thanks all for your messages either through leaving a comment in my blog, through email or MSN. I’m sincerely appreciating all your kindness. Xixi is really blessed to have all your get well wishes, really thanks for all your prayer. Thanks God! I’m glad that Xixi is recovering real well, she has stopped puking since Monday after another visits to the Paed on Sunday afternoon. She had started taking porridge twice a day again since Monday too, so far so good… I could see she slowly gained back her appetite already. She started behave active again these few days, jumping on the bed, running around the house, cuddling with me and laugh out happily… I’m so happy to see her back to her normal self again!!

By the way, just to show you the medicines that Xixi been taken when she was not well. I was amazed this little girl doesn’t afraid to take medicine at all! Instead she likes the taste of the medicine syrup very much! You know why she loves to eat medicine? Because all these syrups taste sweet some more got orange/lime/strawberry flavor! And it comes with fancy colors i.e orange/green/yellow/white/pink. Since she is about 80% recovered now, so she is only taking 2 syrups that helping her to clear phlegm. But I will stop her from taking all these medicine start tomorrow. I think it's not so good too depending on medicine all times right?

Xixi is Sick ~ First Time on Nebulizer

My poor girl has been sick for 4 days already… Started with mild fever and puked on Wednesday (10-June) after her midnight feeding. Been visited her pediatrician twice, taken all kinds of medicine but she still cough badly and puke every night after her midnight milk. Although we’re trying not to give her milk on midnight (to prevent puking again) but she was crying so pitiful asking for it, and I could see how hungry she was (she didn’t really eat solids these few days due to poor appetite). At night we can hear her phlegm sound in her breath and guessed the phlegm is the root cause that makes her chokes and hence cough and puke out everything.

This morning about 5am, Xixi puked again after her morning milk and her condition doesn’t seem to be better so we bring her to see doctor again. Since the pediatrician clinic was closed today, we bring her to another policlinic to consult Dr Singh which used to be our family doctor. He suggested lets Xixi try on nebulizer. Xixi sobbed so pitifully in my arms when knowing she is going to be inhaled, but luckily she was okay after crying for a while. She even says “thank you” and “bye-bye” to the doctor after the treatment done.

This is the first time Xixi sick for so many days, this is also the first time she cough so badly until got to inhaled from Nebulizer. It's really hard pain seeing her seffuering... She obviously has become thinner now as she only taken milks for the pass 3 days, ya… she rejects all kind of solids. T_T. Even if she eats she will just puke everything out, which really makes me worry! But I’m thankful because although she was not feeling well but she doesn’t behave cranky at all, she still very playful and still my sweetie Xixi. By the way, I think I’m very very blessed to have a caring husband by my side all times. Hubby was just recovering from sick as well but he trying his best to look after Xixi whenever possible if I’m busy with other household chores. To my dear, I’m sorry if I never take good care of you and been throw tantrum to you these few days…

I'm praying hard that both my beloved husband and daughter get well real soon.... I'm keeping my finger crossed...

Xixi at 25th Months

Her feeding:

She has been asking for more milk lately. 4 times of formula milk each day, 7-8oz each time. Got to wake up midnight to make her milk T_T. Still taking 2 times porridge per day, but seems like not enough for her. Will give her few spoon of rice with soup during our dinner time. Loves fruits ever! No reject to leafy vegetables and chicken meat lately… which is very good!

Her speech development:

- She is able to speak short sentences now. Example:

• 希希要睡觉 Xixi wants sleep
• 妈妈吃饭 Mama eat rice
• 去婆婆/公公家 Go grandparents house
• 舅舅骂人 Uncle scold people. (she loves to say these, I also don’t know why?!)
  

- Loves to say S-O-R-R-Y when:-

• She falls down
• Her block is collapsed.
• She makes Mama angry
  

- Loves to say 谢谢你 (thank you) when:-

• She complete her jigsaw puzzle
• She tidy up her toys.
• Mama give her jelly beans / Vitagen or anything her favorites.
  

- Sometimes if she got many things to say but don't know where to begins then she will speak in her baby language and own sequence.

Her progress development and behaviour:

-Can spoon feed herself quite well now, but sometimes need my help to scoop the food first then she take the spoon and put into her mouth. If the foods fall down, she will request us to wipe it first before continues her next spoon… haha. But it’s certainly less messy now since she can aim the food rightly to her mouth.

-Able to take off her pant before pee and attempt to wear it back after that but was wear in terbalik way. Very cute…;p

-Loves telecon with Papa, Popo and Gong-Gong everyday! Every time the phone rang she will run real fast to pick up call. Sometimes when she is bored she will bring the phone to me asked me call Popo. Haha! (Luckily my mum just staying nearby)

-Only wants Mama to attend all her needs. She will say 要妈妈 (want Mama) or要你 (want you) to bring her go toilet. Want Mama to change her soiled diapers after nap. Want Mama to makes milk for her. Want Mama to bath her. Want Mama to sit together with her. Want Mama to read for her. Want Mama to tell her story…

-Nowadays she seldom pass urine at her potty. We will bring her to washroom and she squat down to pee.

-Can count objects from 1 to10 in English, however still missing some number in Mandarin. Example, she will start counting with “One, 二， 三，four , five…….

-When being asked what’s her name, she can answered correctly as 林宸希。 She also knows Papa, Mama and Gong-Gong’s nickname at home.

-She knows our zodiac. When being asked what is our family member’s zodiac, she will answer as below:-

• Xixi – 猪猪 (pig)
• Gong Gong & Popo – 蛇 (snake)
• Papa & Mama – 猴子 (monkey)
• Jiu Jiu – 牛牛 (Ox)
• Jie Jie (My brother’s gf) – 龙 (dragon)
• Yi yi (My cousin sister) – 鸡 (chic) sometimes she answer as “pok-pok-pok”

-Less fancy with her children VCDs nowadays but was together watching TVB series with Mama and Papa! LOLzz .. And she has learned some cantonese speaking from the drama.

-Loves jumping on the mattress and sofa nowadays.

-Will holds our hands when go out shopping, like walking in between Papa and Mama. Prefer standing inside the shopping cart instead of seating.

我捶，我捶，我捶捶捶！

Hubby was complaint about his backache yesterday night. He asked me to do some massage for him. So happen that my little Ms Busybody Helpful overheard our conversation and she start to massage very quickly for his daddy on my behalf. Haha…

However, whenever she sees the camera focus on her, she will start showing her signature smile again. *Pengsan*. You will see how professional she was in the video, use all her strength to make her daddy feel more comfortable. Haha then peeps on daddy’s reaction some more.

Anyway, this massage session can only keep her occupied for a while. She back to her normal vain by wearing the hat when massaging daddy for the second time, have you ever see a massage therapist wearing hat and jumping on the sofa like monkey before? Though it's weird but I and hubby were laugh like crazy after repeating the video for N times. Hahaha...
